1. What are Jouplast snappable 2mm flat packers used for?
Jouplast 2mm flat packers are thin packers designed specifically for use where minimal packing is required. Their snappable design means they can be used in one-piece or snapped into 2 or 4 sections to provide 4 packers in 1. They also ensure excellent ventilation for timber decking structures, and comply fully with the minimum spacing requirement set by the French DTU 51.4 technical standard (3 mm between joist and decking board). Ultra-strong, they can support heavy loads with no deflection (crush resistance in excess of 2 tonnes).
2. How are Jouplast snappable 2mm flat packers used?
Jouplast 2mm flat packers are modular and therefore easy to adapt to the requirements of individual projects: they can be used in one piece or snapped into sections for precise spacing adjustments. Their integral moulded lugs make them stackable, and they are compatible with ridged wedges for even more precise adjustments. For optimum fixing, they can be screwed, glued or nailed directly to the structure.
