Adjustment Key for Cleman Riser Pedestal
4 snappable 3 mm spacers for a smooth surface.
Millimetre-accurate manual height adjustment using the screw adjuster: no other tools are required.
Reinforced for greater compressive strength.
Self-locking grooves on the rear of the riser pedestal remain in contact with the ground for greater stability.
2 edge trim supports integrated into the base flange.
Acoustic damper included. Reduces vibration and resonances by half, compared with a riser pedestal alone.
3 adjustment options: using the driver bit, screw adjuster or special adjustment wrench.
Height-adjustable riser pedestal designed for tiled, ceramic or slab terraces intended for pedestrian use. Self-levelling riser pedestals can be used on uneven or irregular ground to compensate for – or create – gradients of up to 5%, regardless of ground characteristics. The CLEMAN® range allows you to prepare the site by pre-setting the riser pedestals using the driver bit, use the screw adjuster to set the riser pedestal height, and carry out the final millimetres of adjustment using the special adjustment wrench.
This riser pedestal is intended for use only on uneven ground or an existing concrete slab. The terrace can be finished neatly using the paved side finishing plate. See installation instructions.
CLEMAN® riser pedestals are compatible with all paving formats. At least one riser pedestal should be positioned at each corner of the paving slab.
Please refer to the paving/ceramic tile manufacturer’s recommendations to decide whether or not additional riser pedestals may be required. The paving used must be self-supporting and compliant with French classification T7, T11 or F+.
It is perfectly possible to install these riser pedestals on well-prepared uneven ground. They work equally well on existing concrete slabs, and can be installed immediately adjacent to existing installations with no problem.
The surface on which self-levelling adjustable terrace riser pedestals are to be installed should always be prepared in advance. Unprepared ground (e.g. unprepared soil or lawn) may change over time and can be subject to movement, depending on the weight it is required to bear and the weather conditions to which it will be subject (dry periods, heavy rainfall, etc.). For these reasons, it is important to stabilise the ground beneath the terrace to ensure its long-term stability. Can also be used with Timber decking tiles.
